External Board Hanging Below Roof

Above my photo below at left illustrates use of a site built drip edge nailed tight against the fascia board leaving a gap that in turn sends roof runoff behind the gutter.

External board hanging below roof. Making the tops of your fascia boards the same angle as the roof allows you to easily place roofing material over them without creating bumps or ridges.
