I been playing around with this idea after i saw this thread try what i did in my screenshot temporary build a 2 floor system on the side of the house and then run roof pieces along the top of it then delete the temporary floor and wall pieces and yes i know all roofs have holes but you won t see raindrops in houses anymore after doing this.

None of the glass roofs stop the rain from falling through. It s not that noticable in the vanila game but once you add one of those popular weather mods the rain effect is very noticable.
